How do I connect the Chrome extension?
Sign in at callauditor.tech, open Settings → Chrome Extension, click Generate pairing code, then paste the code into the extension popup and press Connect. The code is single-use and expires in a few minutes — generate a new one if it has expired.
Chrome never asked for my microphone
The first time you press Start, a tab opens asking for microphone access — click Allow there, then press Start again. If you dismissed it, open chrome://settings/content/microphone and allow the Call Auditor extension.
Which call tools can it record?
Any call that runs in a browser tab: Google Meet, the Zoom web client, Microsoft Teams (web), Whereby, Jitsi, Yandex Telemost and similar. Desktop apps (native Zoom or Teams) are not tabs and cannot be captured — join from the browser instead.
Are other participants notified?
The extension asks you to confirm participant consent before every recording and shows a recording indicator on your side of the call. Recording laws differ by country and state — obtaining consent where it is required is your responsibility. See our privacy policy.
A call is stuck in “Transcribing” or “Analyzing”
Very long recordings can take several minutes. If a call has been stuck for more than 15 minutes, open its report and press Re-run, or email us the call title and we will fix it.
How do I delete a recording, a call, or my account?
A workspace owner can delete a recording from the report page and delete calls in bulk from the Calls list (select mode). To delete your whole account and all its data, email us — we complete deletion within 30 days.
